Every pixel, every line of code, and every late-night fix — all crafted by one person who just wanted to build something that worked the way it should.
TallyFox began as my final project for the BS Entrepreneurship program at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines Open University System in 2022. At the time, I was juggling work as a video editor and graphic designer while trying to bring a business idea to life. The original plan? A free POS, inventory management, cash & credit ledger, and accounting reports app for small businesses. Problem was… I couldn’t code to save my life. I outsourced it to a Fiverr agency, they promised 4 - 6 months, and seven months later, the app barely worked.
Cue frustration, anger, and the epiphany: if I wanted it done right, I’d have to do it myself.
Fueled by coffee, stubbornness, and the occasional existential crisis, I started from scratch, learning to code through the London App Brewery’s Web Development and Flutter bootcamps with Dr. Angela Yu. Those courses gave me the structure I needed to go from clueless to capable. The rest came from countless hours of debugging, building, breaking, and rebuilding.
But somewhere in that process, the vision evolved. I realized that small businesses weren’t the only ones who needed financial clarity — everyone did. TallyFox pivoted from being a business tool into a modern personal finance app designed for the way people actually manage money today, across cash, digital wallets, savings, investments, and emerging asset classes. The goal: to make it so intuitive that even someone’s parents or grandparents could use it with ease.
Books by Robert Kiyosaki, Tony Robbins, Napoleon Hill, George S. Clason, and Harv T. Eker lit the path. I wanted to create something that didn’t just track money, but helped people think, grow, and take control of it.
Today, TallyFox is my one-person labor of love: every feature, every screen, every fix crafted with grit, care, and a bit of caffeine-fueled obsession. It’s personal, empowering, and designed to make finance a little less scary — because if one person can survive coding an entire app solo, you can survive managing your money too.
We believe that mastering money starts with mastering yourself — your habits, mindset, and decisions.
Growth happens one decision at a time. TallyFox is built to make every step forward visible and meaningful.
Finance doesn’t have to be complex. We design every screen to feel calm, intuitive, and human.
Born from failure and built through persistence, TallyFox stands for doing the hard things until they work.
We don’t just show where your money goes, we help you build the independence to decide where it should.
We believe progress requires both belief in what’s possible and the discipline to make it real.
TallyFox was built on one idea: that personal finance tools should feel human. No dark patterns. No data selling. No manipulative design. While ads help keep the free version accessible to everyone, your data remains entirely yours — owned, managed, and backed up by you. We have zero access to it.
Every feature starts with empathy and ends with simplicity. From design to data, we prioritize privacy, transparency, and purpose. The Premium experience goes even further. No ads, full offline access, and every feature unlocked for complete freedom and focus.
In the long run, TallyFox aims to build a community that values progress over perfection, learning over luck, and growth over greed. That’s the kind of financial culture we want to create, one that’s honest, empowering, and built to last.
A solo effort — built for everyone.

TallyFox is a one-person project — crafted, designed, and managed by Anton. From UI design, web and mobile app development to marketing, operations, administration, and customer experience, every part of the process runs through one pair of hands (and one slightly overworked brain).
