1. Introduction

Welcome to TallyFox (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the TallyFox mobile app, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using TallyFox, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use TallyFox.

TallyFox provides personal finance management tools designed to help users, including minors, learn and manage personal finances. TallyFox does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. All financial decisions you make based on TallyFox are solely your responsibility.

2. Eligibility & Parental Consent

TallyFox is available to users of all ages.

• For Minors: If you are under the age of majority in your country, you may use TallyFox under the supervision or with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that minor usage complies with these Terms.

3. Account Registration

TallyFox requires only a nickname to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and credentials and for providing accurate, lawful information.

4. Features & Subscriptions

TallyFox offers Free (Ad-Supported) and Premium (Paid) plans:

• Free Plan: Limited to 5 accounts, pre-set categories, weekly currency refresh, ads, and online-only use.
• Premium Plan: Unlimited accounts, custom categories, advanced budgeting, daily currency refresh, offline use, and ad-free experience.

4.1 Subscription & Billing

Premium subscriptions may be purchased via:

• Mobile app stores (Google Play / Apple App Store)
• Direct payment channels (e.g., GCash, and others as announced)

If you purchase Premium through our website, you will be provided a unique link containing your device ID and country information. Do not alter this link, as doing so may prevent Premium features from being unlocked on your device.

All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice.

Device Limitation: Premium subscriptions are valid for one device only. If you switch to a new device, your previous subscription will not automatically transfer. To use Premium on a new device, you must cancel the subscription on your old device (if applicable) and purchase a new subscription on your new device.

5. Use of Services

You may use TallyFox for personal or business financial management. You must not misuse the Services, including (but not limited to):

• Reverse-engineering, decompiling, disassembling, copying, reproducing, modifying, or distributing TallyFox, its source code, or any part of its content without our prior written consent.
• Using TallyFox for unlawful activities.
• Attempting to circumvent restrictions or security measures.

6. Data & Privacy

• Local Storage by Default: TallyFox currently stores all financial data locally on your device. We do not retain your financial data on our servers.
• Google Drive Backups: Users may choose to back up their data to their own Google Drive account. Free users may create manual backups, while Premium users may enable automatic backups. These backups are stored solely in your Google Drive and are not accessible to us.
• Firebase Storage (Premium Users): For Premium users, we store your device ID and country in our Firebase database solely to verify Premium status. Free users do not have this data stored.
• User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for backing up and securing your data. We are not responsible for any data loss, theft, or unauthorized access due to device compromise or Google Drive backups.

7. Third-Party Services

Ads in the Free Plan may be served by third parties. We are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of those third parties. Currency rates and financial insights may rely on third-party data providers, which we do not guarantee to be accurate or up to date.

Backups are integrated with Google Drive. Your use of this feature is also governed by Google’s terms and privacy policies.

8. Disclaimers

• No Financial Advice: TallyFox provides tools for tracking and managing personal finances. We do not provide professional financial advice.
• No Guarantee of Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all features (such as currency rates, calculations, or insights) will always be correct or available.
• Data Responsibility: Because TallyFox uses local storage, we are not responsible for any data breaches, losses, or corruption occurring on your device.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• TallyFox is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”
• We disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, including but not limited to data loss, financial loss, or system failures.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use TallyFox illegally. You may stop using the Services anytime by deleting the app.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be notified through the app. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. International users agree that disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Philippines unless otherwise required by law.
